Getting Around Chattanooga

Chattanooga has a regional airport you can fly into and is a good option if you plan to mainly stay in the downtown area. Chattanooga is very walkable and offers a free electric shuttle (the Carta) that runs from the Chattanooga Choo Choo on the southside to the Tennessee Aquarium on the northshore. 

You can also opt to fly into larger nearby airports such as Knoxville, Nashville, or Atlanta. Then rent a car before heading to Chattanooga. If you are planning to venture out of the city for hiking and adventuring then renting a car will be your best option.
